Summary of October
There are too many things happened this month. Whenever I thought about writing a post for it, I didn't know where to start, because once I did, it can easily be a 20 page long post.
Watching
Well... I'll try to make it short. My sister's wedding of course is the biggest highlight of this month. There was so much preparation for the wedding that it caused headache to everyone that was helping out. After all, the hard work was not wasted. It turned out very nice and it went very smoothly. The best part is probably the hotel that they have chosen, which is the new Four Seasons hotel in Central. The suite that they reserved got upgraded to an even bigger suite which overlooks the harbor. I got to stay there the first night before the wedding day, because traditionally the groom is not supposed to see the bride the whole day before the wedding.
Not only the suite was gorgeous, but that night was also very memorable. My eldest sister, my elder sister and I, three of us were sleeping together on the king size bed. It once again reminds me of our childhood, where we slept together all the time whenever we go on a trip. Ever since I left to the US, I haven't been so closed to my sisters physically. The fact that we were able to do that again before my sister gets married made it extra special.
The night of the wedding banquet, I was one of the MC, while my brother-in-law's friend was the other MC. In order to match the formal setting of the banquet, there weren't any games, but mostly slide shows, videos and speeches. I really love the slide shows, especially the one showing my sister from childhood to her dating age. During the rehearsal, I am watching that slide show with tears. These pictures showed how we used to be and how we have changed tremendously through time. It has definitely been a fast but long journey for her.
If you are interested in the wedding pictures, they can be found in www.kiki-paul.com
and the banquet pictures will be uploaded very soon.
I promised myself not to write so much about work, because I heard from someone that there is a person in my office who got fired because of blogging about the office.
I am fully back to work and study mood right now. Work has definitely kept me busy with deadline coming up at the end of the year. Other than that, there is really not much time for other things to happen. I already plan ahead and list out all the things I want to do once I am done with all my exams. So far, I got badminton, swimming and dance classes in mind. I can probably think of a couple more to fill up my schedule..
