My dream last night
I was in the test room getting ready to be seated. Just like my previous exams, I prepped myself mentally so that I would be ready to tackle this one. The next moment, the test sheet was in front of me and the clock started ticking. I glanced through the front page of the exam. That looks familar? It's a sudoku puzzle! Since I have done so many of them by now, I started to solve it without hestitation. A long time went by and I was not even close to completing it. I looked at it again and I found that this is actually an expanded version. Instead of having 9 squares of 3X3s, I have nine squares of 10X10s! I looked around and people started to leave their desk because they finished the exam. Oh my god!! I only have 15 minutes left and I haven't even started the Graphic questions yet. I couldn't focus either because the people that finished the exam were just standing at the side chatting. I yelled at them to get out and the room was left with me and this other guy. Okay, back to the puzzle... Focus!! I know I can do it...
Five minutes left, and I am STILL on the puzzle. I flipped through the rest of the pages and I found that I am actually working on the back page, instead of the front page. I decided to start on the first graphic question, at least to make some progress. The graphic question involves a picture with some mountains on it. I think I know what to do. I drew four curves lines around the mountains. TIMES UP! I am so dead meat...
I walked out of the room feeling so upset at myself. Now that I for sure failed the exam, I need to wait for another six months. Even then, I am not sure if I can ever complete the exam on time.
(Alarm started ringing) I opened my eyes. A sudden urge of relief fell through my mind. Phew~~~ sooooooooooooooo glad it's just a dream. Sooooo glad I will be given another chance to take my exam without waiting for six months. I hope the dream doesn't mean anything. Unlike my normal days, I did not want to fall back to sleep. I have never been so eager to stay awake.
